Welcome to High Point Market
Nearly 75,000 people descend on the city of High Point in spring and fall to see the best and brightest of the world of home-furnishings. Dazzling exhibitor displays, jaw-dropping showrooms, countless educational seminars, and social events will fill your calendar Saturday to Wednesday. But there’s plenty to see and do outside the confines of Market in High Point.
Food & Drink
Stock & Grain Food Hall – 12,000 square feet of restaurants and take-away counters right in downtown. Of the eight independently owned food concepts and two bars, Biscuits Brisket & Beer, Yumi Sushi, and Taco Street have a strong hold on us.
Blue Water Grille – Sophisticated and upscale eatery with regional favorites like NC trout, sharable small plates, an extensive wine list and original cocktails.
Joy Bar Coffee – Woman-owned and pioneering Competitive Integrated Employment for the differently-abled, Joy Bar serves exceptional coffee and really good vibes. You might also get a little inspiration from the coffee cup itself.
Organic AF Juice Company – Refresh and detox with a cold-pressed juice, smoothie, or leafy green bowl from our favorite juicery.
Nomad Wine Works – A modern wine bar with wine, cider, and mead on tap. It’s just around the corner from the World’s Largest Chest of drawers.
Dot & Pearl's Bakery – Cakes, cookies, truffles, candies, and gifts from our favorite bakery will delight your senses.
Community
Congdon Yards – The fully renovated and transformed Factory and Plant 7 buildings were brought back to life as a coworking and community center by the Chamber of Commerce. Take a few minutes here to answer emails or meet with clients away from the hustle and bustle at HPMKT.
Really Big Dressers – The World’s Largest Chest of Drawers, Originally built in 1926 and fully refinished in 1996, is a 38-foot tall chest of drawers and a testament to the city’s origins and industry. The World’s Largest Chest of Drawers can be seen at 508 N Hamilton St. in High Point. But it’s not the only big dresser. Not to be outdone, FurnitureLand South built an 85-foot tall 18th century highboy dresser when they expanded into their showroom in Jamestown in 1999. Visit this big dresser at 5635 Riverdale Dr. in Jamestown.
High Point Greenway – Calm your senses and enjoy an early morning stroll on the Greenway. Access the trail from Armstrong Park near downtown, or head out to the Piedmont Environmental Center for more trails.
Humbled Warriors Yoga – Enjoy a variety of classes at this gorgeous studio just down the street from HPMKT and feel your stress and tension just melt away.
