Mocha Mousse is Delectable and Homey

Pantone has chosen Mocha Mousse for the 2025 Color of the Year. Mocha Mousse is a soft, muted, warm brown, not too dark and not too light. This softly balanced hue allows it to play both a supporting role or a leading role in any given color palette. Speaking to the cultural trends that are all about embracing comfort, home, natural elements, and thoughtfully curated and individualistic pleasure, Mocha Mousse is a delectable choice for interiors. 

Brown is a classic neutral but it can be difficult to style given its variety of depth and hue. Warm browns can edge close to burgundy and orange, cool browns can toe the line with grey and black. Mocha Mousse is a warm-neutral brown but not very deep in value, giving it a lot of range for a variety of different applications, from accessories to color-drenched walls.

Layer tone on tone for a warm and traditional look. 74471 Cocoa is a rich and rosy leather. S3569 Rosewood features a beautiful geometric tonal pattern. And F5677 Brick is a traditional paisley in creamy mocha-infused tones. These mocha-hued upholstery fabrics are perfect for a color-drenched room.

S2741 in Dusty Rose is the perfect pinky-brown shade, and Crypton at that. For a pretty and elegant touch, add pillows in S6972 Sienna. Add a pop of color and glam with S6385 Julep, a watery green velvet. Like stepping into a secret garden!

Contemporary Mod

Starting off with a distressed velvet, S2469 Rose Quartz is a stunning multipurpose fabric. S6362 Earth is a chenille that draws us deeper into the natural elements with its gold and brown hues. Pulling the icy blue hues out is S3006 Chambray in a large geometric pattern. 

Transitional Tropical
