Perhaps it’s the shorter days, the crispness in the air, or the return of pumpkin spice to the Starbucks® menu that has us dreaming of fall.  Regardless of the reason, it is the perfect time of year to refresh your home with cozy colors to usher in cooler weather. Whether you prefer a traditional fall palette or something a little more modern, we have some great new fabric options in our new greenhouse HUES books.

The Traditional Palette

Inspired by nature itself, with the changing of leaves, and the harvest bounty, warmer tones are the typical palette for the season. Embrace the warmth and layer in cozy with textures of rich chenille and boucle, and lush cut velvets.

The Non-Traditional Palette

If you love pumpkin pie, but the thought of pumpkin orange in your home just will not do, consider a non-traditional scheme.  The crisp serenity of white pumpkins and green gourds may be more your speed. This soothing approach to autumn is perfect for the cottage home and sophisticated chalets alike.

The Modern Minimalist Palette

You embrace the changing of the season, but when it comes to decorating, you prefer a minimalist approach.  A leather Chesterfield sofa, in a rich copper tone is always a classic choice. Add warmth with an Aztec inspired pillow and a complimenting blue geometric for a more modern flair.  Keep the palette primarily neutral with a cozy cream chair.

Greenhouse Fabrics is happy to be a resource for your projects this fall. Traditionalist or not, may we all enjoy the new beginning that fall seemingly brings.
